Interaction with external environment
This task force focuses on the requirements of smart solutions enabling interactions between the building and its external environment, including multiple systems interactions.
The task force will investigate three topics:
TOPIC A: Providing flexibility to power grids (completed)
Smart solutions and data interoperability to provide flexibility services to the electricity grid (e.g. smart grid-ready buildings)
TOPIC B: Smart building integration into multiple networks (completed)
Smart network integration (sector coupling); Smartness requirements for interactions with Building clusters and smart cities, mobility, Local Energy Communities
TOPIC C: Data driven indicators
Integration of IT & user-centric dimensions in curricula of academic and vocational education; support to the digitalisation of the construction sector
For each topic, a white paper will be collectively produced according to the following schedule:
